Along with my family, I have been an Elk Grove resident for many years, a longtime member of the Elk Grove Historical Society, a retired elementary teacher, and a genealogy researcher. I have served as a society member volunteer for several years (20), many of those on the Board of Directors in the office of Treasurer (17). While I hope each year someone might step up to take the Treasurer position, I must be doing a good job because no one does. I have been an active volunteer with the Historical Society and instigated several successful fundraiser events including the Halloween Haunted Stage Stop, the Black Tie & Santa gala, and the annual An Old Fashion Christmas. I would like to serve again as Treasurer.
