The Elk Grove Historical Society has partnered with Girl Scouts Heart of Central California – Service Unit 144 to create a program to educate these young ladies about history. There will be many interactive activities and hands-on instruction for all levels by knowledgeable individuals. And it will help them obtain standard badges, as well as fun patches.
The program was created by Girl Scout Leader Jessica Gutierrez and is the contact person for all aspects of the program. You can reach her at (916) 647-7118 or vivalayesica@gmail.com for questions or to schedule a gathering.
Almost all activities will be held in Heritage Park at the Elk Grove House and Stage Stop museum (9941 East Stockton Boulevard, Elk Grove, 95624) located at the west entrance to the Elk Grove Regional Park.
